Daydream VR is one among the best VR headsets that we have in the competition with the Gear VR. This VR headset is more like an advancement to the basic Google cardboard VR headset which was launched a few years back. Although most of us have been held back from purchasing this headset due to its limited compatibility with the Pixel phones, there is a lot of content on this VR headset to look forward to. Few games that are really impressive with the Daydream View are :

1. Wands

Don’t tell me you were not expecting this game on the list! When I think of the best games in VR, one of the games that come to my mind is ‘ Wands ‘. This game takes you to Hogwarts and lets you walk around, explore, cast a few magic spells and all the other amazing things that we wanted to do ever since we have gotten our hands on the Harry Potter series.

Being one of the amazing, interactive game, it is a game you would have a lot of fun playing and it is immersive. You even have this game on the Gear VR, so it isn’t Daydream specific or has a limited VR headset compatibility as you may think.

2. Hunters Gate

This is an arcade shooter game and the graphics of the game is pretty impressive. For a VR headset with limited FOV, this game has a pretty amazing gameplay on the Daydream View and it is really engaging. I ended up playing this game for quite some time and it is one among the best VR games we have.

You can play the game in co-op mode which makes it yet more interesting. This game has shooting, collecting items and graphics worth dying  for! DO try this game and let me know what you think about it in the comments section below.

3. The Arcslinger

A badass game where you have to shoot the enemies and it really is in the country style. It is a first person shooter game where you are with the gun trying to kill enemies and collect points which are essential for your survival.

The game is pretty slick and you need to be fast and attentive while playing it. It isn’t like a laid back game and if played pumps in a lot of enthusiasm(at least that is what happened in my case). Overall, an amazing game and it the graphics and amazing gameplay place it on the list of best games to be played with the Daydream View.

4. Mekorama

This a third person puzzle game where you need to advance in the game by moving objects via the controller. You need to move the objects to clear the way and go to higher heights and ultimately reach the exit.

This game has different difficulty levels and it gets more difficult as you move on to the next levels. The game is engaging although it is a real brain teaser and you need to focus your mind while playing it. The overall gameplay is good and it is interesting to have one such game on VR.

5. Danger Goat

This is an interesting game where you have a lost goat which needs to reach the top of the mountain. On the way you face obstacles and need to overcome them in order to avoid death which would result in losing the game.

There are a lot of ways in which the goat would face obstacles. There would be electric fences, rockets, traps and much more. You need to save the goat from all these hurdles and help it reach the top which is the ultimate goal of this game. I personally love such games and  hence it is one of my favorites.

6. Need For Speed : No Limits

This is one of the most awaited racing games, I have loved NFS series and have played almost all the NFS titles released by the developers. It is one of the most amazing car racing games with gorgeous graphics and out of the world soundtracks.

The races in the game really challenge you to the next levels and it makes them interesting to complete all the challenges and race in different locations. This game on VR is the best thing that could happen to any gamer, so do go ahead and check this one out!

7. WonderGlade

This game is one of the launch titles for Daydream VR and it is pretty colorful, LOL. This game has many mini games included in it and they are:

The Tip N Tilt Racing which as the name suggests is a racing game, Tiny Tee Golf is pretty interesting because I have never played golf in my life and it was a good experience in VR, Tinder town is another game where you are  a fireman trying to put out fire around you and the Magic mayhem where you use the wand in order to cast spells which are pretty amazing because with the controller in the hand you actually get the feeling of using a wand!

8. Evil Robot Traffic jam

This isn’t as interesting as the name might sound, here you will be trying to reduce traffic congestion by shooting cars so that they never reach the limit. It reminds me more of the simple games which we have on our phones, the only difference being that this is in VR.

The gameplay is engaging and you might end up liking it because it is addictive and the graphics are great. The detailing makes this game more appealing and something which a beginner should get his hand on ! Although the game is plain and simple it is a stress buster shooting up those cars after you have had a long day, LOL.
