You would be playing the protagonist and trying to save your girlfriend. Th story has two different endings so it really depends on how you play the game and the endings would be different. The game is pretty long and it is interesting and the story unravels of what is happening in the house that you enter.
There is one family that has pretty much been affected by the evil and you need to get past all the crazy family members who are trying to kill you to find out about your girlfriend and discover the mysteries of what happened and how everything went downhill. Here they lie is a game strong on narrative and has way too many things going on in the game making it a pure classic. In the game you would find different creatures having some infections and interaction with them would just affect our mind.
The game is pretty amazing with the graphics and detailing. It is the one of the best horror game on the Oculus Rift and with all the effects and storyline you are going to love this game. The game is going to take you through a really engaging narrative in VR and the best part about the game is that it is way too realistic.

3. Paranormal Activity VR
The Paranormal Activity VR is one of the scariest games ever and it can be said that it is as terrifying as the Resident Evil 7. In the game, you are all alone inside a home and are exploring the place with nothing but just a torch. Soon you realize that you have company and things are not looking good.
Escape the terror that is haunting you in the house and unravel the mystery on what really happened in the house.The game is a copy of the Paranormal Activity franchise movie and if you are a big fan of the movie then you are definitely going to like the idea of being in the movie and being able to interact with the objects in VR.

4. The Brookhaven Experiment
The Brookhaven experiment is one of the most amazing games which will take you to the environment of The walking dead and is more like a narrative game making it overall amazing gaming experience. The storytelling really gets you excited and thrilled along with the post-apocalypse situation which is quite scary.
One of the scariest horror games that one could play on the Rift, the Brookhaven Experiment is one of the best games where you need to keep shooting all the creepy and disgusting monsters that come your way. This game is definitely going to be one of the best horror games we have in VR.
5. A Chair in a Room
A chair in a room is one of the most engaging VR horror games you might ever find. In this intense game, you would find yourself solving puzzles and try collecting as many clues as possible to unravel the mystery around the hospital in which you have been stranded. It is one of the most amazing VR horror games and is extremely engaging.
The narrative is broken down into 6 chapters where each of them has around 30 minutes of gameplay giving you enough time to calm down after each chapter, LOL. This game only gets better in VR and it is a mix of horror and art of puzzle solving which will get you through most of the situations.
6. Emily wants to Play
This is a narrative gameplay where you are a pizza delivery boy and encounter an odd house where you have one of your pizza deliveries. Due to the heavy rains, you decide to step inside the house for a moment soon to realize that it was one of the biggest mistakes you could have ever done.
As you enter the house the door behind you closes and the nightmare begins. You need to get out of the house and the game begins. There are a few creepy dolls and a girl named Emily who roams in the house, you need to stay away from her and try not to get locked in the same room else this could be the last pizza you would ever deliver.
7. Don’t Knock Twice
The movie was scary enough and now we have a game. The game is about a witch who lives in a manor and you are playing the game as a mother who is looking for her daughter inside the manor. The daughter is trapped inside and as you progress within the game you would find many clues and unravel mysteries which would aid you in finding your daughter.
The game looks pretty good and it has a really good gameplay and an engaging narrative. The game trailer makes it look pretty promising and it is definitely worth playing! The game has tons of positive reviews and if you haven’t experienced this game in VR yet then you should go ahead and get it on SteamVR.
8. Wilson’s Heart
This game is exclusive to the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch. This is a first-person game, where you play the role of the protagonist, Robert Wilson. Robert Wilson wakes up in a hospital only to realize that his heart has been replaced by some device.
As you progress through the game, you see a lot of chaos and mysteries. The game keeps you engaged with the storyline and it is a psychological thriller that will keep you completely immersed in the VR world. The game is in black and white giving you the feels of the 1950’s and making the game a bit more daunting.
The game releases in April this year and is one of the most awaited horror games. I think it would have a really nice mix of mystery and puzzle solving to get through the entire gameplay. The graphics look realistic making this game even a better in the VR world.
9. Rise of Insanity
The rise of insanity is a psychological horror game where you are going to be a doctor and explore the secrets of the human brain. While exploring the darkest secrets of the human brain you get unravel more mysteries and realize what happened to your family.
Overcome some of your fears and get along solving puzzles in order to unfold the story.
10. Organ Quater
Organ Quater is a survival horror game in which you are isolated for a week or so in your apartment and to your surprise, everything in the city has changed within that time. There are multiple story twists to the game and you need to survive through the nightmare and figure out a way to end this.
