October 7, 2017 by Shrey Leave a Comment

The first week of October has some interesting releases and if you have missed any of them then check out the list of the just-released games on the Oculus Rift. Check out the titles(there are a few experiences included as well) and do let us know what you think about them in the comments section below!

Table of Contents

  • 1. Dead Effect 2 VR
  • 2. Raw Data
  • 3. Water Planet
  • 4. Go For launch: Mercury
  • 5. Syndrome VR

1. Dead Effect 2 VR

The Dead Effect is a sci-fi game where you would be killing enemies and completing missions in order to move to the next levels. The game has a single player mode as well as the PvP multiplayer mode which you can play with your friends. As the game progresses you would get various gears, weapons and be able to train your character in different skills.

The game is going to be amazing for people who are interested in a sci-fi FPS game and there are tons of weapons, gear and different possibilities that this game has to offer. Dead Effect 2 VR is a must play especially if you have played this game in Early Access before.

The game is fully out now and you should check it out on Steam VR to get started with playing this game!

2. Raw Data

Raw Data has a strong storyline revolving around the game. The game begins with one of the huge corporations holding control over the entire world and as an elite operative to a hacker resistance movement you need to collect as much as raw data as possible from the corporation. As the game progresses there are a few more mysteries that unravel in the story and it gets more complicated.

The game has a very engaging storyline and the graphics are on point! The graphics look really realistic and this game is probably one of the major releases in this month. Check out the trailer of the game and if you have played it then let us know what you think about it in the comments section below!

3. Water Planet

This game is a first-person adventure game where you are set on a planet and are going to collect resources in order to fuel an interstellar ship. You would be wandering in the ruins and ocean depths looking for as many resources as you possibly can and you will be accompanied by your onboard A.I. Gemini.

This adventure is all underwater so experience a true VR experience with this game and indulge in an adventure that is really immersive and interactive. The graphics on the game is really impressive and you can check out the trailer below.

4. Go For launch: Mercury

This game is about the early experiences you have when you go for launch. The game is pretty straightforward and it basically helps you reenact the experiences that people had during the early days of the launch. So, if you have a friend who loves astronomy and space-related experiences then this game is for you.

Well, I did not find the game that interesting but if you like exploration games then do check out this one on Steam VR.

5. Syndrome VR

Finally, a horror game. Syndrome VR is a sci-fi horror home where you play the role of the protagonist. You wake up in a ship only to find that all your crew members are dead and the thing that killed them is still in there around you somewhere.

Off you go exploring the remains only to find out that there isn’t one killer but there are way too many of them and you need to survive this nightmare. The game has some cool graphics and a couple of jump scares. So, if you are a fan of horror games in VR then this is definitely worth a try.

If you think we have missed any games then let us know in the comments section below!
