There have been a couple of really good game releases this month on the Oculus Rift and the games are definitely worth trying if you own a Rift. If you haven’t checked out the July releases then you could read that post as well but for now, let us look at the games that August has in-store for us!
Table of Contents
1. Killing Floor: Incursion
A lot of us have been waiting for this game and it is a survival horror game and all this game involves is bring down a bunch of enemies that are trying to attack you. Teaming up and killing all the zombies is probably an interesting way to play a first-person shooting game.
All of you who have been waiting for the game, you can check it out on the Steam VR as the game has been released and if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, then go ahead and see it down below.
2. Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul
The game is about exploring a house and you soon find out that you are not alone. The exploration will take you to different places and depending on your choices within the game, it will have different endings. The game reminds me of the Resident Evil 7 which was released earlier this year.
The game has pretty realistic graphics and the entire gameplay experience is immersive. If the movie Anabelle: Creation was just not enough dose of horror for the month then you should definitely play this game on the Oculus Rift and let us know about your experiences in the comments section below!
3. The SoulKeeper VR
I personally love games that involves spells and magic, I guess, that is what happens when you grow up with Harry Potter books. But yes, the SoulKeeper has got the magical essence and involves casting spells and using magic within the game. The experience gets amazing with the Touch controllers!
The long-awaited game is finally here and it is definitely worth trying if you haven’t tried it yet. Have a look at the trailer of the RPG game, the SoulKeeper and let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below!
4. Out of Ammo: Death Drive
If you feel we are out of zombie killing games this year then this one out there is a must for the Rift owners. It is a pretty interesting game where it involves strategic base building and killing zombies. This is the second part of the first Out of Ammo which had been released previously.
If you like the genre of the game then you should definitely play both the parts. For now, anyone who was waiting for the second part, here it is!
Do share this post with your friend who owns a Rift!
state says
great, 3 out of 4 are horror.
That’s super fair to those of us who don’t like that genre.
but nevermind give us 30 more zombie/horror games and don’t make a single turn based RPG.
Great…
