1. Don’t Knock Twice
Release Date- 5 Sep 2017
Don’t knock Twice is the game version of a movie where the story revolves around a mother and daughter where the daughter gets cursed by a witch living in a house. In the story you are not supposed to knock twice on the door of a haunted home, playing the role of the mother in the game, you need to find ways to free the daughter from the curse.
You will be wandering around the mansion and trying to find as many clues and resources as you possibly can which will help you on your mission to save your daughter.
2. Emily Wants to Play
Release Date- 10 Dec 2015
In the game, you are a pizza delivery boy and you are going to the last home to deliver pizza before your shift ends. Things take a strange twist when you reach the place and no one answers the door. You are a little curious and hence you step into the house and look around if someone is at home when suddenly the door closes behind you.
You start exploring the house and try and find a way to escape the creepy place. The game is filled with some really anxious moments especially when you find that one of the dolls is roaming the place as well. Find a way to get outside the home alive.
3. Organ Quater
Release Date- 20 Oct 2017
Organ Quater is one of the terrifying horror games that you can play on the HTC Vive. A typical survival horror game where there are combat and puzzle solving involved. Manage your resources carefully as you travel through the game and explore the environments.

4. Narcosis
Release Date- 28 March 2017
Narcosis might not be like the other horror games on the list where it is a cursed soul following you but instead, it operates on the fear of isolation, confinement, and darkness. This game would be slightly different from the typical horror game but it is indeed challenging.
You are lost in the depths of the ocean on the ocean floor and is the only survivor you need to figure a way out and manage your oxygen resources well. This game gets really intense after a while and it is definitely one of the most interesting games that we saw last year.
5. Rise of Insanity
Release Date- 4 Aug 2017
The rise of sanity is a psychological horror game where you are going to be playing the role of a doctor of psychology and uncover the dark secrets of the mind. As the game progresses you will slowly understand more about your family past and the reason for your tragic situation.
Honestly, the graphics of the game are insane and if you think you are not afraid of the dark then I dare you to try playing this game! It is one of the best visually crafted horror games released on the Vive and you definitely need to give it a go if you haven’t already.
6. The Exorcist: Legion VR
Release- 22 Nov 2017
The Exorcist is going to test all your fears, so if you want to challenge yourself then go ahead and play this game. The game has different chapters and in each one of them, you will complete the challenge with the exorcism of different demonic entities.

7. Insanity VR: Last Score
Release Date- 15 Aug 2017
Insanity VR is more like a horror escape game where you are trying to find your way out of a room by collecting clues and solving mysteries. The game is very immersive and you get pretty much involved in finding your way out but at the same time, you are not alone in the room.
You need to find the secret to getting out of the place and it gets really intense as you keep searching for more clues and start getting towards the end of the game. Check out the trailer for the game if you haven’t already.
8. Horror of the Deep
Release Date- 14 Jan 2017
This game reminds me of Dreadhalls which, by the way, is another great horror game but since it was released sometime back and is pretty famous we have not included it in the list. In Horror of the deep, you are going to be inside a dungeon where you are not alone.

9. Home Sweet Home
Release Date- 27 Sep 2017
The game is going to be inside a haunted house where the spirits are all set free, you need to figure out the true story behind the events happening in the home. The game involves a very strong narrative that is immersive and being in a Thai environment, you are going to have everything according to Thai traditions.
This game is not for the faint-hearted and my friend who tried this game on refused to go on after playing for 15 minutes. So if you are up for a challenge to last longer than my friend then, check out the game on SteamVR.
10. Lost in the Rift
Release Date- 22 Nov 2016
One day you wake up in the middle of the forest inside a tent and have no idea how you reached there, terrifying, isn’t it? Lost in the rift is going to make you go through the same feeling where you need to find out more about how you needed up stranded up in the forest.
There are going to be a bunch of clues that will help you out but the only way you can understand everything happening around you is by entering the dark tunnel in front of you. Another exploration horror, lost in the Rift is pretty engaging and immersive.
