Skyrim VR is finally making it to the big VR headsets starting with the PlayStation VR and then releasing on the SteamVR platform for the HTC Vive and maybe the Oculus Rift.
In the recent E3 event Bethesda confirmed that the game would be releasing in the month of November for the PlayStation VR users and the game would be releasing next year for the HTC Vive. There is a slight confusion if the game would be for the Oculus Rift, although I think most probably it would be compatible with the Rift, anything can happen since the Oculus and Zenimax case(parent company of Bethesda) is still fresh.
The fact that we get to have the releases on Vive surely makes it better, since the controllers are way more effective and immersive in Vive in comparison to the PlayStation’s Move controllers of the PlayStation VR. Hoping to see these games on the Oculus Rift as well, but for now, the developers are in the ‘maybe’ zone to release the game on this VR headset.
However, let us know what you think about the Skyrim release and are you as excited as we are?
